More About Me

David's Background

David Gala is a Tacoma Native and his ambition to work in the real estate industry began at age 5. He became an award-winning Tacoma News Tribune paperboy at age 9, and then worked in the restaurant industry, saving enough money to launch his career at age 23 with John L. Scott Tacoma North. David applied that same grit and tenacity to real estate, becoming the top selling broker in North Tacoma within a couple of years.

Teaming up with The Hume Group

When David’s wife/operations mgr opted to be an at-home mom when their daughter was young, David looked to Tom & Matt Hume at Windermere Professional Partners, the area’s second highest selling broker team. David had grown up with Tom & Matt  - Tom & David even shared a TNT paper box when they were young. They joined forces and their combined experience and expertise remains unmatched.

David's Approach to Life

"I believe in the Golden Rule/Karma, and treat my clients with the same care that I would hope to receive.  I recognize that when a homeowner hires a broker to sell their home, that home is full of hopes, dreams, memories, and a lot of hard work.  The expectation is that a broker will carefully market and sell their home for the best price and with the least amount of stress. When a buyer is searching for their new home, they are relying on my expert opinion and negotiation skills to get them the home of their dreams.  I work hard every day to earn and keep the trust of my clients, friends, and family and to take care of all of their real estate needs.  It is my privilege and pleasure to be your real estate broker."

When David isn’t meeting up with lifelong clients & friends, he is spending time with family or re-charging on a hiking trail in the Olympics/Cascade Mountains.
